Because you haven't logged in as a Registered User. A number of pages and other information have and will be made available only to Club Members. For example, all Club members can submit articles and links directly to the website through the Members' Menu. Additionally, I wiil be adding pages for "Crew" listings and a "For Sale" section, which will be viewable to members only. 

To register, simply go to the home page and click the "Create an Account" link at the bottom of the section. Note that even if you have completed the current Membership Application/Renewal, you will still need to create an account as a Registered User. They are, unfortunately, two completely separate functions within the site's software.
