What's the difference between the Membership Application/Renewal and "Create an Account" under the Member Login section in the left column? A lot actually.

First, they represent entirely separate functions within the website. The Membership Application/Renewal is just that. It is created by an entirely separate program and its information is stored and encrypted in a different location of the website. The "Create an Account" of the Member Login is created so that registered Members have access to special website functions and capabilities not available to the general public. The program that creates it is an integral part of the website.

Second, the two programs do not "talk" to each other. Consequently, they don't share information. This might be possible, but I won't know that unless I have time to look more deeply into how the two programs work.
