The Seven Lakes Sailing Club organizes sailing and social events. The sailing events include formal races around defined courses, Learn-to-Sail and Introduction to Racing courses and other sailing related activities. Activities are scheduled on Lake Auman and Lake Sequoia. Our social events include after-race BYOB cookouts, Scavenger Hunts, Boat Parades, an annual Water Carnival, and more. The Events page will give you some idea of what we do....and how much fun we have.
The Sailing Club is open to any Seven Lakes resident or landowner who has an interest in the water or in boat related social events. This includes power boaters and non-boaters.
Our newsletter, the mainSheet, is updated as needed. It is the voice of the Club's Leadership and is sent directly to the Membership when "published".
Current news and announcements can be found on the Announcements page of the site. Notice of new postings will be announced in the Announcements window on the right. Current new and announcements may be posted by any of the Club's members.
Because club members have a variety of sailboats, racing events are run under the US Sailing version of the Portsmouth handicap system. The club also includes a number of power boating members who have interests in sailing activities.

SLSC PROUDLY PRESENTS LAKE AUMAN'S NEWEST SAILORS
What's the old movie adage: "Be afraid, be very afraid!" Be warned all who sail on these here waters, thar be danger ahead.
After spending a week being barked at, commanded to do the most un-normal things and generally abused all around, the students of SLSC 2010 Sailing School were released from voluntary servitude to practice the art of sailing without benefit of skilled supervision.
We welcome them to the wonderful world of sailing and wish them the very best in "their new hobby". To all others, be sure to give them a wide berth.
Congratulations Greg and Jean Downer, Spencer and Donna Gung, Phyllis Hergenhahn, Ron Hulon, Dennis and Dawn Raup and Patsy Thomas ! We hope to see you on the water.
