Join this non-racing sailing event for all types of sailing boats on the lake. The intent is to make an informal tour around the lake together. The tour will start at the North side of Pine Island at 10 AM. The tour will take about 90 minutes and is led by Bob Fewkes in his Sunfish. Even when you are not an experienced sailor, this event is for you! A safety boat will follow the group of boats.
We will keep an eye on the weather and we will let you know if the weather does not permit us to sail.

Decorated Boat Parade (Tue. 4 Jul, 2023 11:00 am)
Get set to decorate your boat in your most creative red, white, and blue, and join the annual Fourth of July boat parade -- a wonderful tradition here in Seven Lakes West. The Seven Lakes Sailing Club has asked Stan Makson to lead it again this year. Boats should assemble at the East side of the Dam at 10:45 am. The parade will begin at 11am. The tour will take approximately one hour.

Summer Series Race 3 (Sat. 15 Jul, 2023 1:00 pm)
The third race of the season will be on Saturday July 15!! The start will be at 1 PM. Let's try to get as many sailing boats out as possible. The Committee Boat with the start and finish line will be on the middle of the lake. Be there in time and report yourself to the Committee Boat as a participant. A Flyout of the proposed race course and start information is available on this website and is updated on a daily basis reflecting changes in wind and weather conditions and other factors. There will also be a Safety Boat following the race. Join your sailing friends on this great event.
BYOB (Sat. 15 Jul, 2023 5:00 pm)
The next BYOB will take place on Saturday, July 15th at 121 Andrews (in the waterfront yard) at the home of Donalie Bolke and Mary Ellen Buckley. This BYOB is for members and will start at 5:30 PM. Bring an appetizer to share with 5-7 persons and your favorite beverage. Have a great time with your friends in the Sailing Club. See you all at our next social!!
