Sad to report, Ray Taylor, former sailing club member, passed away this week at Quail Haven. Ray was an active racer in the club during his and Pauline’s residence in Seven Lakes West. Our sympathy and support goes to Pauline and their children in bearing this loss.

The memorial service is scheduled for March 5, 1:00, at the Community Presbyterian Church, Pinehurst.

 The October Fest party for the Sailing Club members was held on October 18th in the Community Center. Forty members attended the event. There was excellent food, nice Bavarian music and friendly people. Thanks to Mary Anne Fewkes and her team for organizing the event. Some photos of the event are here.

The September 2025 BYOB was held in the backyard waterfront of Bert and Elly van Domselaar on Saturday September 27th. Although rain was in the forecast, it turned out to be a beautiful evening with 30 members attending! We all had a great time.

Also this year, the Seven Lakes Sailing Club organized the parade of decorated boats on July 4th. Stan Makson led the parade around the lake going from cove to cove. A wonderful tradition on Lake Auman! See more photos here.
