Welcome Aboard!
The Seven Lakes Sailing Club is a group of Seven Lakes residents who have an interest in sailing. We organize a program of events that includes, learn-to-sail courses, informal sailing events for non-sailors, social activities, and sailboat races around defined courses on beautiful Lake Auman. The racing events are run with all sizes of sailing boats using the Portsmouth handicap system. Our social events include a variety of on-the-water and shoreside activities. The club also includes many pontoon boat and powerboat members who have interests in sailing and in our social activities. You don’t need to have a boat to join and enjoy the sailing and social events of the club. Membership fee for a family is $25 per year. 2025 is the 33rd year for the Seven Lakes Sailing Club, and we’re looking forward to an enjoyable one on and off the water! Our first event is a Spring BYOB kickoff at 5:30 PM on April 26th. Schedules for our sailing and social activities and Learn to Sail classes for 2025 (free to members) will be posted on this website. Club membership is still $25/yr per household.
You can send your check made out to the Seven Lakes Sailing Club to our treasurer, Nancy Workman, 3420 Seven Lakes West, West End, NC 27376, or, drop at the community center addressed to her. PLEASE include a note with your address, latest phone number and email address with the check so we can update our records.
